Delete your account
You can delete your Crepe Salut account yourself in under a minute. This page explains how, what's removed, and what we're required to keep.
1. Delete it in the app
1. Open the Crepe Salut app and go to the Account tab.
2. Tap the cog in the top corner to open Settings.
3. Tap Account.
4. Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Deletion happens straight away and can't be undone. Any unused stamps are lost, so if you're close to a free crepe, claim it first. Your account is the same on our website and in the app, so this deletes both.
2. What's deleted
Straight away: your profile (name, mobile number, email, birthday and marketing preferences), your loyalty stamps and stamp history, your order-ahead history, event enquiries you started or sent, the record linking gift cards you bought while signed in to your account, your Apple Wallet loyalty pass file, and your customer record with Square, our till and payments provider.
Within 24 hours: your profile with Customer.io, which sends our app notifications and emails.
3. What we keep
Payment records with Square. Square processes our gift card and order payments, and keeps the transaction records (amount, date and the last four digits of the card) for as long as UK tax and anti-fraud law requires: six years. They're no longer linked to your name once your account is deleted.
Your Square loyalty tally. Square doesn't let us delete loyalty accounts through its systems, so yours stays linked only to a phone number, with no name or email attached. Email us if you'd like it removed too and we'll do it by hand.
A record that a deletion happened: the date, time and network address of the request, so we can show we acted on it. It doesn't identify you.
A pass already saved to Google Wallet can't be removed remotely. It stops working when your account is deleted, and you can remove it in the Google Wallet app.
4. Can't open the app?
Email support@crepesalut.com with the subject "Delete my account" and the mobile number your account is registered to.
We'll text that number to check it's you, then delete the account. We complete requests within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by email when it's done.
