Our Story
We started our journey back in 2012 with one van. We're now serving our delicious, freshly-made crepes all over London and beyond.
Bertie, being the workhorse he is, would serve up to 500 crepes a day trading at events in Surrey and the South East. And it was a hit! Over the 6 years that followed, Bertie delighted thousands of crepe-loving customers.
2012 - 2018
The journey started in 2012, when our first Citroen HY van, Bertie, was converted from an ex-milkfloat in the Pyrenees into a crepe van ready to serve sweet and savoury crepes to the masses.

After four more successful years, in 2022 we acquired another similar business to ours based in Wiltshire. This expansion added a second Citroen HY Van, lots of great contacts and increased output potential to the business.

In 2018, the business was bought by its current owners. We're proud to be a true family business, with all four family members actively involved in the business' day-to-day operations.

Our Story
Established over a decade ago, we're a family business built on great crepes.
In 2023, we opened our first permanent concession in collaboration with Eat17, Walthamstow. This marked the start of our expansion into more long term fixed locations.

With the aim to position the business for expansion, we decided to re-brand the business with a new brand name, ‘Crepe Salut’; unifying the two businesses into one brand with a modern visual identity.
2022 - 2023
Our mission for the next decade is to provide our customers with fond memories for years to come by creating small moments of happiness and warmth by serving delicious, freshly-made crepes with a smile.
